TELL ME WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?

When you hire me, you are hiring so much more than someone to show up on your wedding day, take photographs, and then leave. When you hire me, you are hiring a friend. I genuinely care about you as individuals and as a couple, and I genuinely care about your wedding day. I pride myself on going above and beyond for my couples from the very beginning when you book me and lock in your date, to the very end when I deliver your gallery. I will always value people and relationships more than anything else.

SO, WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

I get this all the time, "so where do you actually live?!" I live in Joplin, Missouri- a small town in the Midwest but I travel all over, which is probably what makes it confusing! I am available for travel anywhere your love might take you.

WHAT IS YOUR SHOOTING STYLE?

My shooting style is artistic and documentary, and my editing style is timeless. I pride myself on creating photographs that won't look dated or trendy in 10 years. You never want to look back on your wedding photos and think, "...but, why am I orange?!" No, way. With me as your photographer, you're not going to be looking into my camera much at all, expect for maybe a few on your wedding day (the above the fireplace shot for Grandma's wall, I get it) I won't spend our time together "posing" you because I am focused on what is real. I will direct you and make you feel comfortable and hopefully in the moment you won't even remember I'm there.

WHAT IS YOUR "IDEAL COUPLE?"

My "ideal couple" doesn't fit into a box, so I would never put them in that. If you are a couple who cares more about the moments and each other than all else, you're going to for sure love what I have to offer. The couples who fully and wholeheartedly trust me and my vision. The real question is, am I your ideal photographer?

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

My wedding collections start at $3,000.
I absolutely get that budgets can be a thing, Don't hesitate to discuss this when chatting with me! Talking money can be awkward- I am real, I am human, I get it! Even if you aren't sure if I am within your budget, reach out anyway! You never know until you ask!

DO YOU TRAVEL?

HAPPILY. Give me all the reasons! Travel is what inspires me. I travel for anything you desire to have captured.

SO THEN HOW DOES TRAVEL WORK?

Super simple. All travel and lodging will be added onto your chosen wedding package, after discussing details, of course. I'm very chill when it comes to this and am definitely not against staying in your extra bedroom or at your parents house! I prefer to book all of my own accommodations, but recommendations are appreciated if you have any to give!

WHAT RIGHTS DO WE HAVE WITH OUR PHOTOS?

Alllll the rights! Gone are the days of you having to purchase each photo and choose which size. My only request is to please never crop, alter or throw an ugly filter on my pretties. Also, please always credit me when posting on social media!

HOW DOES BOOKING WORK?

So simple! All booking is done on a first come first serve basis. Once you reach out to me and we begin our conversation and talk through the details, booking is the next step. For weddings, I require a non-refundable $500 deposit which locks in your date. Bam. Easy as that.

HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

I deliver all my sessions through a professional online digital gallery. After receiving your gallery via e-mail, you are able to download all your photos from your gallery onto your computer. You also have the option of easily sharing your gallery with friends and family, so they are able to have access to the photos as well.

DO WE RECEIVE ALL OF OUR PHOTOS?

Of course! The only photos I don't deliver are mid-blinking, blurry or unflattering photos that we know you won’t have any desire to print/have. My average delivery is 600-1,000 photos, but I don't put a cap on how many- sometimes I deliver over 1,000 photos! It just depends on how long I am hired for and how much goes on come wedding day.

SO ARE WE ABLE TO PRINT OUR OWN PHOTOS?

Absolutely! You even receive a professional printing service option with your gallery. Holla!

HOW DO WE PAY YOU?

Through my online service. I make it super easy, convenient and secure for you! I also accept cash, check, or Venmo.

"BUT, WE'RE AWKWARD..."

Oh man, if I had a dollar for every time I was told this one! I get it, guys- seriously seriously! A lot of the time, before your wedding day, you've never had professional photos taken of you two- it's ok! I promise that for every couple who has told me this, they leave the session saying "YUP, ok you were right! It was way more fun than we thought!" No worries, I got you.
